Our Privacy-First Commitment

pAIrImprover is built with privacy at its core. We believe in analyzing your code without compromising your intellectual property or personal data. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Code Analysis

Zero Retention Policy

When you analyze your code with pAIrImprover:

  • Your code is processed immediately and deleted after analysis
  • No storage - We do not store, cache, or retain any of your source code
  • No training - Your code is never used to train AI models
  • No sharing - Your code is never shared with third parties

User Authentication

We use GitHub OAuth for authentication. We collect only:

  • GitHub username and user ID
  • Email address (from your GitHub profile)
  • Usage quota information (number of analyses performed)

This data is used solely for authentication and usage tracking for your account tier.

Web Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This service is privacy-focused:

  • No cookies - Vercel Analytics does not use cookies or third-party tracking
  • Anonymous data only - All data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users
  • 24-hour retention - Visitor session data is automatically deleted after 24 hours
  • GDPR compliant - No personal identifiers are collected or tracked across websites

The following anonymous information may be collected:

  • Page views and URL paths
  • Referrer information
  • General geolocation (country, city)
  • Device type, operating system, and browser

Data Security

All communications with our API are encrypted using HTTPS. Authentication tokens are securely stored and never logged or exposed.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • GitHub OAuth - For authentication (governed by GitHub's privacy policy)
  • Anthropic Claude API - For AI-powered code analysis (code is not stored or used for training)
  • Vercel - For hosting and analytics (privacy-first, anonymous data only)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Access the personal information we store about you
  • Opt out of our service at any time

Data Retention

  • Source code: Zero retention - deleted immediately after analysis
  • Analysis results: Not stored by default (only displayed to you)
  • User account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Web analytics: Aggregated anonymous data only, session data deleted after 24 hours

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
